Adding an About Me Image as a Gadget

I created a drawing which I am using as an introduction to me on my blog via an image gadget. 

In the drawing, I published to the web and copied the link URL code. I added this to the image URL box on the gadget.

I made sure to tick 'shrink to fit' so that is stays within the parameters of the layout of the blog.

Next year I can update the drawing and as it is linked it will show as updated on the blog.

To manage the images for a class

Learners need to be able to find the drawing easily. Naming is important.  

Learners submit the published url to a sheet so the image can be added to the gadget and the teacher has access to the sheet as a backup.

Birds and T Rex

This animation uses shapes for the birds. By putting together different shapes and making the border colour transparent the drawing becomes bird made up of different shapes. The parts can then be moved separately.
